5/23/08: Wednesday,
May 21, around 1:00PM, WEEU Radio/Reading Eagle Internet’s
Dave Kline, (the interviewer), Al Walentis and Mitch Gerhart
recorded this video interview with members of the Colavita/Sutter
Home and Rite Aid cycling teams. The interview was conducted
in the vicinity of the start/finish line for the upcoming
Commerce Bank Reading Classic Pro Bicycle Race on June 5th
in Reading, Pennsylvania. The riders rode about 25 miles to
Reading from the Kutztown, PA region for the interview session
and then road back to Kutztown when the interview was concluded!
These and many other top cyclists
are in the region training for the Commerce Bank Triple Crown
of Cycling. The cyclists in this interview came from Italy,
Argentina, Cuba, and our WEEU/Reading Eagle Internet Services
team welcomed them to Reading by giving each rider a WEEU
Radio/Reading Eagle Internet Services “Screaming Eagle”
team cycling jersey for training as a souvenir of their visit
to our region. “Citizen to citizen diplomacy is part
of the underlying value of this event,” said WEEU/Reading

is located right by the star/finish line for the race, on
Penn Street in Reading. In addition to playing host to members
of the media from around the world, the facility will also
be open to the general public on race day and will serve a
